Quando o Metin2 virou mais do que um jogo


Se hoje eu olho para o Metin2 e sinto um aperto no peito, é porque ele nunca foi só um jogo pra mim.

Há cerca de 12 anos, entre mapas cheios de monstros, lojas lotadas em Jinno e aquele som clássico da cidade, descobri algo raro para a época: a possibilidade de casar
Aquilo era mágico. Eu queria viver tudo de verdade com as alianças, roupas e a cerimônia completa.

Para isso, tomei uma decisão que só quem viveu o Metin2 de verdade entende. vendi minha espada do 30 +8, uma das coisas mais valiosas que eu tinha, para realizar esse sonho

O que começou no jogo ficou tão forte que saiu da tela.
Viajei cerca de 8 horas de ônibus pelo Brasil para encontrar, na vida real, a pessoa com quem eu tinha me casado no Metin2.

Hoje, cada um seguiu sua vida.
Mas é impossível abrir o jogo e não lembrar dela principalmente quando vejo o sistema de casamento ou uma cerimônia acontecendo

O Metin2 me ensinou que não são os níveis ou os itens que ficam na memória…
São as pessoas. E é por isso que o Metin2 nunca será esquecido.

Meine schönsten & nostalgischsten Erinnerungen liegen bei Orten wie der Map2 Level Wiese, RIB Wiese im gelben reich oder auch in OTM.
Viele coole Menschen getroffen mit denen man ganze Wochen ingame verbrachte und sie zu seinen ersten richtigen onlinefreunden nannte.
meine erste Rüstungwas damals unglaublich spektakulär war war ein Tip (18er Krieger). Beim uppen mit dem gildenschmied habe ich zitternd vor meinem Bildschirm gesessen. Viele Fehlschläge zuvor. Viel Yang verbraucht um hier zu sein. Beim Versuch +9. als es tatsächlich geklappt hat und der gildenschmied mit erfolgreich anzeigt kann ich nicht leugnen, dass mir eine Träne kam
Mit eines der besten Ereignisse, Events waren damals die Hochzeiten. Immer alles voll gewesen und jeder machte . Einfach eine Hammer Zeit. Ich freu mich drauf neue Erinnerungen mit diesem Server zu kreieren und nochmal in die alte Zeit zu verfallen.

Ciao sono Fabio vivo in Italia, io ho giocato dal day One di omega primo server in Italia oltre 20 anni fa', dal primo momento me ne innamorai assiduamente e non smisi mai un secondo di giocare a metin, il mio Main era un sura nero (ovviamente non sapevo a cosa andavo incontro), feci subito amicizia con un ragazzo shamy drago ed un ninja arco, Pippo e Dano89 ricordo che senza social e telefoni ci davano appuntamento in game alle 17 dopo la scuola, sempre maniacalmente puntuali, venivamo rapiti fino anche a notte fonda la mia vita sociale durante la settimana Calò a picco, ma ero felice era la cosa più bella che potesse capitarmi, uno dei ricordi più belli che ho, tra l'altro è quando stavamo dal 35/36 fino al LV 52/3 e oltre in valle dai Neri avevamo buffer mobber 2 che menavano e gli altri a farsi expare, tutti i pomeriggi e le notti chiusi li con gli occhi fuori dalle orbite, fantastico... pagherei oro per tornare in quei momenti, per non parlare della crescita insieme, scambio di item, darsi una mano per qualsiasi cosa, e soprattutto giocare insieme, cosa che purtroppo da anni è venuta a mancare, chiudo dicendo che probabilmente se sarete uno staff che si occuperà dei problemi ed avrà intenzione di mantenere vivo il server per un tempo prolungato, avremo un'utenza importante e soprattutto vi ringrazio a nome di tutti i nostalgici come me anche solo per il progetto ci state regalando un sogno.

I played in 2008 for first time on PT-original server at Selene with some friends.
We dont knew half of metin2 but that was the best time.
Party groups on valley at the black orc, uglys as hell, was top, dropping stone of speed (the orange one) was the thing i remember, i dont know why lol..
Never forget, played until 5h in the morning with classes beginning at 8:30, my archer ninja calling orcs for me and my mental warrior with strenght body M5 tanking all he call summon for me... just to.... use for first time the ugly salvation blade lv55
oh, and this strenght body M5 at the time was.. strong. top1 pvp between my friends, some of them spend € in-game and still lose skills upgraded matter in a time that no one have bonuses...

Cred că era perioada 2010-2011, doar ce descoperisem metin2. Mă jucam cu colegii de la școală, unul dintre ei având chiar un caracter warior de nivel 70 destul de bun . La acel moment, nu cunoșteam foarte bine jocul,și ajunsesem să am o sabie nimfă +9 cu bonusuri de pvp. Din cauza lipsei de cunoștințe, acel coleg s-au oferit " sa mă ajute să o evoluez " , așadar i-am dat contul . Bucuros că o să am o armă și mai bună, seara am intrat și am găsit contul gol .... Foarte supărat, a doua zi la școală m-am dus să mă iau de el, dar el fiind mai mare, a rămas și cu itemele mele, m-a și bătut și mi-a luat și pachetul cu mâncare de la școală . Acela a fost momentul în care am devenit pvp-ist. Am învățat jocul, am construit un ninja lame destul de bine echipat, am petrecut zile și nopți întregi să învăț tactici de pvp și am ajuns în punctul în care îl băteam în orice mapa îl prindeam , iar la școală am luat în coleg mai mare căruia i-am dat un fms +9 să mă apere la școală de colegul bătăuș. Recent, după mai bine de 15 ani de când nu mă mai întâlnisem cu acel coleg , am dat de el din întâmplare și am râs împreună legat de cele întâmplate în copilărie . Rezultatul acestei povești ar fi acela că jocul metin2 leagă oameni atât prin amintiri frumoase, când și prin amintiri mai puțin frumoase.

I have such memories of the game I fell in love with... I vividly remember the old days of 2009, when I saw my big brother play Metin2 for the first time, it caught my attention and I instantly went to him and asked what he was playing. Little did I know that asking that question would turn into the game of a lifetime...

I'm from Portugal, me and my brother started playing on Helios, back when there were only 4 servers (Helios, Theia, Selene, Uranus).
We were completely consumed with the game. I remember that we would wake up on weekends at 8am, just to go to our shared desktop with Windows XP, and play one at a time, whilst staying side by side the whole time, looking at the other one play ahaha.
There was a specific moment really early on in the game, when we didn't know anything at all, we saw a guy using the Aura of the sword, and we didn't know what that was, so we thought it was the Combo ability xD.
At that time, there was competitiveness, there was fairness, there wasn't p2w(or it wasn't even close to what it is now), and most importantly, there was unity and companionship, guilds and groups used to mean something... Me and my brother would go to the black orcs and look for someone to level up with, either to get a ninja with a bow, or a shaman to buff us...
And the absolute thrill of dropping a Soul Stone... don't even get me started on that.
Every time me and my brother would leave the house, we'd just be talking the whole time about getting back just to play Metin2, especially when we were at the beach... the beach, in a hot summer day, just summons the urge to play Metin2, we would just swim, play, and talk about Metin2 the whole time we were there.

I really hope this server stays alive for a long time to come, and we can see metin's greatness once again...
As the mods said, we going back to our rightful land, our rightful Home...

I was a kid when I started playing this and I remember getting scammed on Helios for a war scythe twice in a row, how stupid i was ahahah (still am)

Hi everyone,

My best memory is when I was farming in map1 for a lvl 20 weapon and I was a warrior on mental. I had almost lvl 25 and it was so frustrating because I did not manage to get one and make it +6. Once I finnally managed to make a Guisarme +6, even +7 with some luck, I said that now it will be the best weapon to use for longer time.

At that time, I was just starting to play and did not even know how to make my status or skills. Eventually I realised STR is for damage and VIT is for deffence, but my skills were horrably divided with 3/4 points on each. I did not know that I needed 17-20 points to achive master. So, I was struggling to even resist in map2 as a mental since I had just my guisarme and some +3/4 items.

The change came when one day I talked to guy who was mental as me and I saw him pulling his Stong Body, but had a different color then mine and I asked him how. Ofc, he did not want to tell me unless I gave him some money. Since I did not have much, I decided to give him my weapon. After that, I was told how to reset skills and that I needed to invest all the points in one master and then 1 point in the rest of the skills. Once I want a second master, I have to do the same.

That day I learned how to achive M1 on metin2 and that Information always costs money

Back in my days, was a mental warrior on uk server, and my weapon of choice was the lv45 2handed +4 but it had 5% poison, best weapon for killing lv 45 metin stones

I remember the fist time I saw someone with the 2handed lv 70 weapon, he was the top player on uk back then.
Also this is the og, I dropped a 42% avg FMS, gave it to my cousin since he was a body warrior
